Clinical Mind-Body Therapy

Chronic pain, attention and learning difficulties, sleep disorders and fatigue are among the conditions where non-pharmacological approaches now play a central and well-evidenced role.

Modern treatment increasingly goes beyond diagnosis and medication. Depending on the condition, therapeutic methods targeting movement, behaviour, attention, learning, sleep and nervous system regulation have shown strong clinical results — often where other approaches have not.

This practice focuses on three areas where this evidence is particularly strong and where I have concentrated the largest part of my clinical training, supervision and practice: chronic pain, learning and attention, and sleep and fatigue.

Pain and Chronic Pain

Persistent back, neck and joint pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, pain following injury or surgery, and pain syndromes without clear structural findings. Treatment draws on current pain science — working not only with tissue and joints but with how the nervous system and brain process pain. Methods include Pain Reprocessing Therapy after Alan Gordon, myofascial and manual techniques, and therapeutic aerial work.

ADHD & Learning

ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, persistent concentration difficulties and exam stress — for children, adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed despite ability, effort and motivation, including twice-exceptional individuals. Bilingual therapy in English and German. English-language work follows Orton-Gillingham principles; German-language work follows BVL standards. Treatment works independently of medication and alongside it when medication is part of the plan.

Sleep, Insomnia & Fatigue

Chronic insomnia, Long COVID, post-viral fatigue, ME/CFS, burnout, perimenopausal sleep disturbance and hormonal dysregulation. For people with medically investigated complaints as well as those with complex presentations including Hashimoto's, mast cell activation syndrome and dysautonomia. Insomnia treatment follows S3 guidelines with CBT-I as first-line therapy. ME/CFS and Long COVID treatment is pacing-oriented in line with current guidelines.
